    Hi,

I just wish to know if CMM relies on SSH port to be 22 in some way? Such as, needed for some script update or for any other service (besides SSH).

I usually change the SSH port to a different one to prevent bulk login attempts which usually follow issuance of a letsencrypt SSL certificate. CSF then takes care of all such attempts as port 22 is removed from the list of allowed TCP ports.

My relevant server config is as below:
    • CentOS Version: CentOS 7 64bit
    • Centmin Mod Version Installed: 123.09beta01
    • PHP Version Installed: 7.3.6

    Thanks,
    Gaurav

CMM has SSH port change menu which you can find at the menu #16.

yup centmin.sh menu option 16 will change your sshd port prompting to you enter existing sshd port = 22 and then your desired new sshd port and will make appropriate changes in CSF Firewall too :)
