Isnt there a way to compile GCC yourself and then use it ?
Or installing it from other .deb prebuilts ?

    regards

That's what I have done in past if GCC YUM packages aren't available via official YUM distros, I build my own custom GCC YUM/RPM packages Beta Branch - Testing GCC 8, GCC 9 & Clang 5/6/7 compiler for Centmin Mod Nginx & PHP-FPM. So that Centmin Mod Nginx and compile routines are ready for newer GCC versions when new GCC versions are available publicly. But rather than polute end users servers with tests, I do this privately until official public GCC YUM packages are out via SCL.

.deb is for Ubuntu/Debian. FYI, Centmin Mod is CentOS/RPM only

Mostly iim not familar with yum/centos.
Using mostly only arch, sometimes debian and ubuntu, but dont like them really much.

Nothing that I'm willing to provide public support for. It's only really for my private use for testing GCC 10+ and Clang compiler compatibility with Centmin Mod.
