    Hey,

    Which VPS company do you recommend to use to host your clients' websites? Linode or OVHCloud?

    Depends on several factors.
    For example, what location your clients and their website visitors come from, in general. (GEO location).

    Linode as OVH offers VPS services only from Canada, Beauharnois as for North America.
    Unless your US customers are near the Canadian border.

    I'm reading awesome reviews about hivelocity and at least they have live chat support that answered me in 1 min.

    I've only ever used OVH for test servers and never production myself. I believe @rdan has extensively used OVH dedicated servers for production live sites.

    For production live sites, I do use Linode and Hivelocity is used by a lot of my paid clients I work with on either web host.

    Feel free to use my affiliate links https://centminmod.com/linode/ and https://centminmod.com/hivelocity/. Hivelocity VPS are a new recent addition. I did beta test them prior to their initial launch. Ok servers - not latest CPU models though but if you're looking for top notch support, Hivelocity has it.

    I don't use OVH VPS; only OVH dedicated servers since 2013, I guess.
    For testing, I use VPS, but mostly from Vultr or Hetzner, with pretty good specs and support.

    they dont have centOS options tho, do they? Can we install the centmin to thier vps?

    Umm.. it seems like i missed a lot here.
    And i blame @eva2000 for all of this. He created centminmod and i set it up and put my websites and forgot everything for years. Centmin took care of everything. Now, after Linode forcing me another price increase because of new tax that i should pay, I came here and realized that centos is retiring and need to find a solution.

    I need to find a new vps provider. Hetzner or Vultr?

    haha when Centmin Mod works, it works :D

    Centmin Mod 130.00beta01 supports AlmaLinux 8 or Rocky Linux 8 now https://community.centminmod.com/th...almalinux-8-rocky-linux-8-beta-testing.24227/ so you need to plan a server/data migration from existing CentOS 7 to new VPS with AlmaLinux 8 or Rocky Linux 8.

    Lately, I've been busy with my paid clients, migrating them off CentOS 7 to AlmaLinux 8 servers for Centmin Mod as well as other control panels like cPanel/WHM :D

    which datacenter? Germany i suppose? I am not sure the US was one of the option..

    US or EU works fine depends on your requirement.

    So any hosts (like hivelocity) which only offers AlmaLinux 9 or RockyLinux 9 on their VPS plans should not be considered if we want to use Centmin mod?

    Anyway, it is better to know more web hosts and compare their hosting packages before signing up.
    Read customer hosting reviews before making any final order.
