Has anyone checked out OVH's new VPSs? They've stream lined everything. Prices don't look too bad, plus NVME drives.

They have a nice 4 core, 8GB ram, 160 NVME, and 1Gbps for $21 a month. Would love to know the speed of the processors.

OVH reached out to me to see if I want to test/review their new OVH VPS line, so doing tests on OVH Essential VPS Sydney region. They're 2.2-2.4Ghz baseline clocked but no idea of turbo boost.

Performance is on par with Linode AMD EPYC 7601 2.2Ghz based VPS and in some tests slower than Vultr's Skylake 2.6Ghz based VPS tested in Sydney but in other tests on par or better. Result will come later when I have free time :)

But OVH new VPS line has great per cpu core pricing. I consider anything better than US$10/cpu core good pricing.

So if frequency is at least accurate, I am guessing these could be dual Intel Xeon Silver 4214/4214Y Scalable Cascade Lakes ? Just guessing if OVH VPS literature is accurate in that they're latest/next gen processors
