Thought this deserved it's own thread.

    I spun up 2 vultr 1GB's
and 2 ramnode 512mb OpenVZ (top option with fast processor 2 cores)

average install time on vultr was 1870sec
average install time on ramnode openvz was 860sec

Just interesting, being that I was getting sick of slow load times on my Vultr servers wordpress backend and ramnode speeds are screaming in comparison.

That's so sneaky of them. They've got nerve to raise the prices too.
I went around praising them and now I'm packing up my servers and switching hosts again. Not to mention from the tickets I opened about 2 months back when I originally noticed my servers being unrecognizably slower than usual.

DO -> Vultr -> Ramnode & Linode it seems.

yeah if you're going from lowest performance to highest :)

hence why this forum runs on Linode 4GB KVM VPS :D

If you don't need 8GB+ Plan or not requiring London, Singapore Location then go with Ramnode.
They have much faster CPU and SSD than Linode :).
