OVH Nice OVH VPS Offerings

    Looks like OVH modified all their VPS offerings. They now offer 4 levels of VPSs. Finally the VPSs got some network speed. 500 Mbps to 2 Gbps. Not sure if anyone saw this.

    I would love to know what processors they're using.

    $31 for 2 Gbps. Everything maxed out for me is $113.96 per month. That's with no commitment.

    I just got rate-limited on SSDNODES so I'm going to have to move one of the sites off so that doesn't start happening.

    They didn't even notify me that they had rate-limited me. smh.

    yeah ssdnodes is starting to be a disappoint, slow tech/ticket response times at 5-8+ weeks to reply and degrated performance eventually and alot of the nodes are now the old Xeon E5 and not Xeon Gold newer processors.

    So if frequency is at least accurate, I am guessing these could be dual Intel Xeon Silver 4214/4214Y Scalable Cascade Lakes ? Just guessing if OVH VPS literature is accurate in that they're latest/next gen processors

    My website crawled to a complete halt. I wrote to them and asked what was going on. They told me I was limited. They removed the restriction, but it would've been nice to know. I was scrambling around trying to figure out what was going on. I'm going to move my busy site to something separate.

    Looking at that CPU online, if it's hitting the 3.2 max, then those aren't bad chips, all things considered.

    The price is nice.

    The biggest problem I always had with their VPSs is that the connection was slow. I believe the connection was 250 before this.

    I still can't believe how good OVH's prices are. Suspiciously good!

    Anyone knows if OVH allow custom ISO for VPS plan? The plan is pretty good.

    These are great deals, but they never seem to have US location.
