Looks like changes to pagespeed.conf are needed due to pagespeed off being deprecated for pagespeed standby outlined at PageSpeed Configuration so would break centmin mod automated routine so needs some reworking. fixed ngx_pagespeed 1.13.35.1-beta install bug as there is a new dependency requirement to install Error | Centmin Mod Community

No! you're conflating Nginx server version with the Nginx Pagespeed module version. This thread was just about Pagespeed being updated.
