    Some Netcraft and W3Tech numbers
wow from Netcraft analysis, didn't realise that link farms for Network Solutions' parked domain notices would account for that many domains !

This last metric is interesting to see how many physical servers are in play. If you took the ratio of all active sites to computers it would be
    • Apache ratio of active sites to computers = 38.38
    • Microsoft ratio of active sites to computers = 14.22
    • Nginx ratio of active sites to computers = 49.89
If took all market share to computer ratio it would be
    • Apache ratio of all sites to computers = 163.24
    • Microsoft ratio of all sites to computers = 226.51
    • Nginx ratio of all sites to computers = 288.60
Meaning, Nginx serves more sites overall or more active sites per web server than Apache or Microsoft :)
