New Relic Servers and the legacy alerting features will reach End-Of Life (EOL) on May 15th, 2018 for those customers who have a paid subscription to one or more of our products. For customers who do not have a paid subscription to one or more of our products, the EOL date will be November 14, 2017. Also, New Relic Alerts will be removed on November 14, 2017 from accounts that do not have a paid subscription.

After the EOL date, New Relic Servers and the legacy alerting features will no longer be available in the New Relic user interface and data processing will stop. Also, New Relic Alerts will only be available for paying accounts and will be removed from non-paying accounts starting on the EOL date.

Important: Upcoming Changes for New Relic Servers and legacy alerting features

Just came over here to post this... just got an email about it today from NewRelic. I've been flying under the radar with NewRelic for a while now — I had a grandfathered free account, thanks to my old hosting company (Voxel/Internap) from way back when NewRelic first launched.

Looks like that free ride is over, but I think Netdata might offer more data, anyway. :D Good timing!

I use their alerts for Load, Ram and Downtime.

What are the best free alternatives to Newrelic that can give this notifications?

What made you go with Nixstats? How do you think it compares with NewRelic?

I can't seem to find out much about either NodeQuery or Nixstats. Their sites are very basic, nor is there any (future) pricing information.

Well, for what i really want, Nixstats seems very good to me, which is the notifications system. I can have exactly the same notifications i did have with newrelic and they have an advantage in this department, the support of Pushbullet, Pushover or Slack. So anyone with a smartphone can have a more reliable notification than a simple email.

I will maintain my Newrelic account, because we will still have access to the APM.
