    Got the error:

Starting nginx (via systemctl): Job for nginx.service failed because the control process exited with error code. See "systemctl status nginx.service" and "jour nalctl -xe" for details.
    [FAILED]
Starting mysql (via systemctl): [ OK ]

I am not giving up. Don't really know how to pull logs and diagnose but I am just reinstalling the server...

Really need php 7 Nginx with PHP-FPM via FastCGI (Opcache enabled)

    God bless you...

beta is more polished that stable from my experience right now as it has better support for new versions of nginx and php ;)

simple nginx -t command would of told you want the problem was so keep that in mind for the future :)

fyi, i just did a test fresh 123.09beta01 install on centos 7 64bit and worked fine :)

what centos version you use ? centos 6 64bit or centos 7 64bit ? which web host ?

I am using Centos 64 OVH kernel..... Yeah, the only problem with being a newb is that I cannot troubleshoot it, so instead I just ask for the Lord's help. I will be up and running soon... In the meantime, I will try to install it again. Still not giving out the number of times but it has been a few times. But it is intriguing to me to play with it until I am able to be proficient in it. With the Lord's help I have done this with Photoshop, X-cart, coding html, and such....

I have a little time but I need to get my website up so that I can finish development on it as I was sidetracked by an unscrupulous web host.

means nginx failed to install and it could be because you're using ovh's custom kernel and not centos distro kernel

from install page Centmin Mod LEMP Stack Install Nginx on CentOS

example for my OVH server with centos 7 distro kernel selected OVH - OVH Intel Core i7 4790K 32GB 2x240GB Samsung PM863 SSD Review | Centmin Mod Community

You'll need to post on the forums with the following info
    • Server or VPS details ? XEN, KVM, OpenVZ, VMWare or dedicated server ? OS ? CentOS 6.7 or 7.2 ? 32bit or 64bit ?
    • What version of Centmin Mod ? .07 stable or 08 stable or .09 beta01 or another branch version ?
    • Was it fresh install or upgrade ?
    • Method of install ? Via centmin.sh menu option 1, Git install or curl one liner install as outlined at centminmod.com/download.html ?
    • How long ago did you install Centmin Mod ?
    • There's numerous code changes, bug fixes over time, so ensure you have latest Centmin Mod code installed by upgrading your Centmin Mod code as instructed below.

    Troubleshooting Initial Install

To troubleshoot initial installation, you need to check the initial install log at /root/centminlogs and instructions under Sharing logs and errors heading for using Pastebin.com or Gists to share a sanitised version of the contents of the initial install log. You can see full details at How to troubleshoot Centmin Mod initial install issues

Example list /root/centminlogs files in date ascending order and grep for install.log
    Code (Text):
    ls -lahrt /root/centminlogs | grep install.log

example output returns install log at /root/centminlogs/centminmod_1.2.3-eva2000.09.001_111016-112321_install.log
    Code (Text):
    ls -lahrt /root/centminlogs | grep install.log
    -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2.2M Oct 11 01:40 centminmod_1.2.3-eva2000.09.001_111016-112321_install.log

in SSH use cat to ouput contents of /root/centminlogs/centminmod_1.2.3-eva2000.09.001_111016-112321_install.log. Clear your SSH client window/buffer so only output is the contents of the file
    Code (Text):
    cat /root/centminlogs/centminmod_1.2.3-eva2000.09.001_111016-112321_install.log

Then copy and paste into Pastebin.com or Gists entry. If your SSH window scroll buffer isn't that large to get the whole contents of the install log, you can download file manually and copy and paste contents. But makes sure it's sanitised version of the contents of the initial install log as outlined at How to troubleshoot Centmin Mod initial install issues

Okay thanks.....I think I will try it again using Centos 6 as I cannot add the original distro to my server as I only have a drop down list to choose from.

for OVH after selecting OS you can customise partition and install from template and there you can check a box that says install original kernel

but to figure out exactly why nginx failed to install, troubleshooting steps and log analysis outlined here is best.

Yes, I believe that feature that you speak of is only available on dedicated servers. I have a vps, I will try it one more time if not I know that I gave it my best shot...:)
