PHP-FPM New server installation on Centos 6.5 64bit will need the php 5.6

Hi
On a new dedicated server Centos 6.5 64bit i want to install Centminmod but i don't know what to edit so i can get as default the php 5.6 and zend opcache as if i am not wrong APC will not work with this new version ?

This should be default to PHP 5.6.1, Nginx 1.7.6 and ZendOpcache.

Centmin Mod is special when it detects PHP 5.5+ and higher, it uses APC Cache 3.15-dev version instead of APC Cache 3.1.13 which is confirmed to work with PHP 5.5.x and should work with PHP 5.6.x. Every other web stack or repository out there uses outdated APC Cache 3.1.9 or APC Cache 3.1.13 which won't work with PHP 5.5+ and higher. PHP 5.5+ and higher
For Centmin Mod users wanting to try PHP 5.5+ and higher, there is one compatibility issue in that public APC Cache 3.1.13 isn't compatible. The latest APC Cache 3.1.15-dev trunk release however is compatible with PHP 5.5+.

Can i edit in the same way the Maria DB installation so i can get as default the latest MariaDB 10.0.14 ?
And if yes which line i must edit?

Why not as default on .07 stable?
Do you plan to add it as it seems stable?

no plans to add MariaDB 10 default to .07 stable... only in .08 beta and higher

generally stable releases are security or bug fix updates only no new features.. .08 beta has new features added constantly... that's why if you want new stuff added, you test .08 beta and suggest for it to be added during .08 beta testing. Once .08 beta becomes .08 stable again no new features will be added only in .09 beta etc

.08 beta is just that beta and code and features can change over the course of .08 beta testing so not really production live recommended unless you want to keep up with beta testing changes at https://community.centminmod.com/threads/how-to-help-test-08-centos-7-betas-with-github-code.813.

But I am testing .08 beta on all new CentOS 6.5 and 7.0 servers I create these days

Ok and one last question
Is it good to use the intel version of Centminmod on any intel cpu based server?

Does the optimizations auto apply or i must do anything after installation?
