    Hi there,

I joined to a group on Facebook, WP Speed Matters, and found some really nice plugins.
These plugins in the image below and you can disable some other, like webp Express (*was a favorite) but flying images shows webp if the browser supports it.

instant.page delays 65ms before loading, now with the new plugin it preload all links that are on your page instead the hoovered one.

Give these new plugins a try and post your results below.

I'm not a fan of most plug-ins: Lots of promises. Little result.
Why solve an incompleteness with a plug-in if it can also be solved structurally?
Most can be programmed and processed in the server, theme or WordPress itself.

Looking at the plugin's it adds almost nothing.
I don't think there's any reason to use a whole plug-in for that.

Flying scripts can be hard-coded in the theme itself inject-js.php in flying-scripts/trunk – WordPress Plugin Repository

    Same for the other plug-ins.

    inject-js.php in flying-pages/trunk – WordPress Plugin Repository

    flingimages.php in flying-images/trunk – WordPress Plugin Repository

Using the most out of Centmin results in a latency of a page of 100+ ms.
It doesn't get any faster at the moment.

The weakest link remains the consumer connection.

So you like to keep everything up to date by yourself. I always did that, but now I prefer not, and with the WP-CLI it keeps up to date. What you do, program into WordPress, theme or server.... Don't know, maybe I get a little lazy.:)

    I don't use Wordpress.
There is no reason for me to use a database server and PHP scripts that are constantly being preprocessed, time over time, any time:)

Simple React or equivalent site does the job.

Just compile once on the workstation and then send the compiled processed static package to Netlify or so.

It also works flawless with Centmin and Nginx cache Nginx Configuration Examples - CentminMod.com LEMP Nginx web stack for CentOS and it's lightning fast!
