Sysadmin Share your VIM text editor learning resources ?

Not using vi.
I hate it.

Rune a lot of configs before.
I only know old people who use vi primarily.

 

Still don't understand that nano et al is not included in the standard list next to vi.
It does not cost so much effort and all is settled
right away

 

VI/VIM is my primary editor. I think vim adventures VIM Adventures - Learn VIM while playing a game and VimGenius VimGenius are pretty good resources that aren't totally boring and help build the muscle memory that I have come to rely on over the past 10 years. Nano isn't too bad I suppose but I haven't really spent that much time with it so it feels fairly clunky and awkward to me at this point in comparison.
