I think nano is installed. What command do I use to open the vhost with it?
I added the record and most of the IPs in who is online are IPv4 addresses, but there is an IPv6 address so I think it worked. How do I add an IPv6 MX record? For the current MX record, I just have the name as utahfishkeepers.us and the server cyprinidae.utahfishkeepers.us. Should I change that to the server IPv4 IP and then add another record for IPv6?
MX records usually don't point to IPs but mail server domain names/subdomain names so contact mail server provider which serves the emails as it has to be configured on the mail server end
Centmin Mod is provide as is, so short of scripted related bugs or issues, any further optimisation to the web stack components - nginx, php-fpm, mariadb mysql, csf firewall etc or web app specific configurations are left to the Centmin Mod user to deal with. So I do not provide any free support for such extended mail server setups. It's also why Centmin Mod recommends 3rd party email instead of local email for such instances at @yourdomain.com email hosting - CentminMod.com LEMP Nginx web stack for CentOS However, Centmin Mod users are free to help each other out and ask questions or give answers on this community forum. My hopes are that this community forum evolves so that more veteran long time Centmin Mod users help new Centmin Mod users out
Don't... I suggest only using IPv4 for the MTA and not set up any IPv6 records. Most hosts that you will be dealing with via mail have valid IPv4 addresses... the IPv6 will tend to be more spammers as time goes on.
