    New location options to deploy Linode's: Washington, DC (US), Paris (EU), and Chicago (US) should be available within a few days!

    Awesome so many folks overlook the connectivity of Chicago for the internet routes.

    Several locations will be added throughout the year.
    So maybe there will be some fun stuff in the near future!

    Upcoming locations and right now beta: Seattle(US), Milan(EU), Stockholm (EU), Jakarta(ID) and Sao Paulo (BR)

    Linode is also going to release premium plans around the same time as new location options: Washington, DC (US), Paris (EU), and Chicago (US)

    Nice hope the Premium plans don't hog all the AMD EPYC 7xx3 Milan 3rd gen cpus and leave some to other plans :D

    Existing locations pre Akamai, will be a mix with existing hardware and new hardware for the non-premium, as they already have existing hardware running.

    New locations: Paris, Washington etc. however that are on a new platform. Judging from my experience; Non premium and premium will both be on new hardware. Given that new locations actually go outside the former Linode and are hosted at Akamai.

    Update. Akamai, meanwhile, has opened several new locations since acquiring Linode. Here is an overview with all the new options. P.s. some of them have been mentioned before.

    Amsterdam, Stokholm, Milan, Chennai, Sao Paulo, Chicago, Osaka, Paris, Washington DC, Seattle and Jakarta

    Yup they've been on a roll lately :D Chicago in USA is pretty well connected location for web hosting/data centers :)
