Greetings everyone, i wanted to ask a question. I have a server running Centmin and is performing flawlessly. I have transfered all my projects to centmin and have been loving it. Thanks to @eva2000

My server had 1 SSD of 128 GB, but now i am in need of additional storage. So now i requested my host to add extra and they added an extra SSD.

My question is that if i mount this new SSD to /home directory which has all my sites. Will it effect my sites or configs in any way?

I tried googling the issue before posting it here, but cant seem to find a relevant answer.

Plus how would i mount this? by creating a partition using Fdisk and then mounting it in fstab? or any other way.

    Thanks

should be fine if done correctly see https://www.tecmint.com/move-home-directory-to-new-partition-disk-in-linux/

you can do centmin mod test on digitalocean or linode VPS servers with additional block storage mounts changing /home as practice ;)
