    Hello!

I saw that many Provider Hosting, use Percona MySQL, because they says is more fast and reliable that the other fork of MySQL.
Do you agree with this or do you think that is better MariaDB?

I talk always regard the performance with PHP/MySQL script, like WordPress, Xenforo, vBulletin, etc.

    Thanks!

Centmin Mod uses MariaDB read why at http://centminmod.com/mysql.html :)

MariaDB uses Percona XtraDB InnoDB engine anyway, so performance is up there most of the time. MariaDB has improvements in the core and MyISAM which Percona don't have as Percona focus on their XtraDB InnoDB engine improvements. You can read benchmarks I did on my blog Part 1 and Part 2.
