    Interesting news that MariaDB released MaxScale 2.0 Beta under their new Business Source License (BSL) which require MaxScale users who use it with more than 3 MySQL database servers to pay for privilege. MySQL daddy Widenius: Open-source religion won't feed MariaDB • The Register

    So you basically can't use MaxScale and a 3-node Galera Cluster even for a testing enviroment. Yuck.

    yeah seems that way. Guess not enough folks on the corporate end are willing to pay more, so this is MariaDB's answer. We will see if there's enough push back from users to force MariaDB to revise their policy.
