i just setup a new VPS (Digitalocean) for a test website with some configurations. After the installation, I run the command “mysql” to make sure that MariaDB is installed. Yup it’s install but after the reboot, MariaDB doesn’t seem to start. Even I run a command to start MariaDB but useless. MariaDB is failed to start with the error unit not found. Since it’s new VPS, no data so I reinstalled everything again... same.
    Centos 7 64 bit
    MariaDB 10.4.x
    Nginx 1.17.6
    PHP 7.3.12.
@eva2000 I have sent a message with VPS information so you can gather as much as logs you need.

I removed the link to your install log as you didn't mask the login details and credentials. You'd want to do a fresh Centmin Mod install just to be safe with new login details/credentials.

As to initial log all looks good MariaDB 10.4 was installed properly it seems as you opted to set
MARIADB_INSTALLTENFOUR='y' in persistent config file at /etc/centminmod/custom_config.inc

What output do you get for these commands ?

    alias to mariadb service
    Code (Text):
    service mysqld status | sed -e "s|$(hostname)|hostname|g"

    Code (Text):
    service mariadb status | sed -e "s|$(hostname)|hostname|g"

    Code (Text):
    systemctl status mariadb | sed -e "s|$(hostname)|hostname|g"

    Code (Text):
    ls -lah /etc/systemd/system/

    Code (Text):
    ls -lah /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants/
