who's web host and what plan and type or server you're using ? openvz, kvm ? or LXD containers from CSF Locked up VPS Twice ?

    output for command in SSH
    Code (Text):
    virt-what
    lscpu

that probably will scew up your mysql database data and server especially if it was in middle of doing mysql write operations to mysql server

    Code (Text):
Jun 06 19:30:20 blackpearl systemd[1]: mariadb.service: Failed to reset devices.list: Operation not permitted
Jun 06 19:30:20 blackpearl systemd[1]: mariadb.service: Failed to set invocation ID on control group /system.slice/mariadb.service, ignoring: Operation not permitted
Jun 06 19:30:20 blackpearl systemd[1]: Starting MariaDB 10.3.15 database server...
Jun 06 19:30:20 blackpearl systemd[859683]: mariadb.service: Failed at step KEYRING spawning /bin/sh: Permission denied
    Jun 06 19:30:20 blackpearl systemd[1]: mariadb.service: Control process exited, code=exited status=237
Jun 06 19:30:20 blackpearl systemd[1]: Failed to start MariaDB 10.3.15 database server.
Jun 06 19:30:20 blackpearl systemd[1]: mariadb.service: Unit entered failed state.
    Jun 06 19:30:20 blackpearl systemd[1]: mariadb.service: Failed with result 'exit-code'

You using LXD containers ? CentOS definitely has issues with LXD containers on some web hosts from when i tested at Centos 7.5 container operation not permitted? and requires web host to know how to properly configure LXD containers for CentOS 7 usage Centos 7.5 container operation not permitted?
Unfortunately, if you're using LXD containers, my best advice is to move to a supported web server as per install instructions at Centmin Mod LEMP Stack Install Nginx on CentOS i.e. KVM or OpenVZ VPS

And/or point your web host offering the LXD containers to post at Centos 7.5 container operation not permitted? to see if they can properly configure the LXD container so that Mariadb MySQL systemd service starts up for CentOS 7.
