Currently I have a table, that is growing quiet rapidly (I think).

It has over 450.000 records, in a week. And it's going to keep growing this.. I expect to have a couple of milions. Would this engine help me out better?

Currently searching the database, for a specific row - it takes 100ms per 200k it seems. Now I have 400k so it takes 200ms to search it.

    If not, any suggestions?
If yes, will this be added to centminmod? How would I go ahead to update it?

    probably only time will tell
too early as MariaDB 10.2 is very early beta and MyRocks is not even full integrated or tested in MariaDB 10.2.

In that test case, InnoDB 5.7 seems the winner.

MariaDB 10.1 is still using an xtradb version that is based on innodb 5.6.

MariaDB 10.2.2 updated to Innodb 5.7 and disabled xtradb till its based on innodb 5.7

Yup from previous pre-stable MariaBD 10.0 and 10.1 releases, they also do pre-alpha, alpha and some betas with Innodb Plugins first and then closer to RC and stable releases add XtraDB Innodb plugin as default.

MariaDB 10.2.4 is going to be first RC release but it's overdue right now from Jira road map

As with MariaDB 10.1, MariaDB 10.2 branch won't make it into Centmin Mod until at least 10.2.14+ to see how they iron out issues :)
