    MariaDB 10.0 is the current stable series of MariaDB. It is an evolution of the MariaDB 5.5 with several entirely new features not found anywhere else and with backported and reimplemented features from MySQL 5.6.

    MariaDB 10.0.16 is a Stable (GA) release.

    I have 3 servers running latest centmin beta and 2 of them still having 10.0.15 version.
    I ran yum -y update many times

    that's weird, YUM says you're on MariaDB 10.0.16 but mysqladmin ver says 10.0.15 !

    Uptime says 69 days so maybe you need a MySQL restart which should of happened when updated. Try

    seems MySQL server isn't properly restarting as uptime still 69 days and 10.0.15... might need to check your mysql error logs

    hmmm what do you get from output from command below

    with mysql running
    Code:
    lsof | grep '/var/lib/mysql/aria_log_control'
    and also when mysql server is stopped
    Code:
    mysqlstop; lsof | grep '/var/lib/mysql/aria_log_control'; mysqlstart
    if there's still processes listed with 2nd output then you can first do a mysqladmin flush-tables and mysqladmin flush-logs and wait 1-5 minutes and then try to manually kill the process ids and then try restarting mysql server

service mysql stop
lsof | grep '/var/lib/mysql/aria_log_control'
service mysql start
service nginx start
    at the lsof line, it should return empty for clean mysql shutdown, if not then kill the process id(s) that return on the left column i.e. 30711 otherwise starting mysql server should be fine

    nginx stop/start just there so visitors don't get mysql can't connect errors
