    Hi

I am looking to get and install a certificate for a bussiness and i don't know if it is easier for Centminmod to use Let's encrypt or get a Comodo commercial one ?

    What do you recommend me?

I know how to install the Comodo but never try the Let's encrypt and don't know also if it good to use it for business level....

    Thank you

If its for a business and its your main money site and source don't use Let’s Encrypt.
    If you ask me.
There are several disadvantages to Let’s Encrypt.

Given the fact that a commercial certificate can be picked up for a few $.
And you do have experiences with commercial provider Comodo.
It seems to me an easy choice.

So you want to be renewing Letsencrypt every 60 days for 90 day expiry SSL certificates ? will you have a reliable automated way of renewaling the Letsencrypt certificate every ~60 days ? If not probably best to use a paid SSL certificate from Comodo.

Does business intend to use alot of subdomains ? Then get a paid SSL wildcard certificate as Letsencrypt doesn't support wildcard subdomains but uses SAN multi hostname SSL certificates = up to 100 hosts per SSL certificate. The larger the size of hosts in a SSL certificate, larger the physical size of the SSL certificate files and thus more to data to transfer to clients/visitors = less performance too.

One main domain only and i will go with the Comodo option :)

But to get a simple one for domain validation or the business validation one or the extended to get the cool green bar?

    Thanks

    Depends if you ask me.
If you have a web store go for the business ssl or business green bar ssl.
If its a startup or a corporate site with not that much traffic, any positiveSSL certificate from Comodo is sufficient.
