    First time poster.

I want to give thanks to everyone's contributions who have unknowingly helped me for years with there own problems.

Of course a special thanks goes to @eva2000 who tirelessly devotes time to this project for us all to use.

Best way to learn with CentMin... jump in, say "Oh Sh*t, the waters deep" and then look for the ring that's tossed to you to stay afloat.

For those that are even 1/2 way competent at the Linux command line, I can't but fully suggest CentMin for them.

Same here... but I have a few years on you. Slackware was my first exposure, and I had to hunt high and low for the CD's for it. At the time I was doing OS/2 Warp running a multi-node Maximus/Binkley 2 BBS on a 386DX-33/40. Think (if I remember correctly) I had a whole 4MB or RAM and an 80MB SCSI drive, and I was in high cotton. Was the HUB for HUB6000 and NEC for the Dallas area before I moved back to my home town. My mail processing script was a thing of beauty... and was given to several other local HUB's that also ran OS/2 on a multi-line system (I had 1 USR 14.4K Dual Standards and 3 USR Courier V.Everything modems (all purchased under the SysOp plan).

Oh you do. I started on 486 systems when 28.8K modems for Windows 3.1 just were the latest thing :D But didn't get into Linux until 6 yrs later.
