Linode Linode users - thought about alternatives ?

Location. Location. Location.
Vultr, Linode and DO have multiple locations to choose from and some clients I have already had a VM at 1 of those 3 and got tired of managing it themselves. Some clients just like Digital Ocean over the other 2 and some like Vultr and so on...

Looks like Linode is being DDoS'd again to an extent.

 

No surprise there. Looks like everything is resolved...for now. I'm really starting to get the urge to move from Linode to Ramnode.

 

The Atlanta datacenter has been experiencing connectivity issues for what seems like at least every other night the past week. :/

 

Linode just can't get a break it seems and I'm also on ATL. =C

 

I'm glad I moved away from them now. While they are great when they work, the constant issues just aren't acceptable from a end user perspective.

 

Their Singapore located seems not affected

 

I just order a storage VPS with them yesterday, and still on pending status for more than 24 hours now :/.

 

Are you a current costumer ? If not, then fraud checks can take a day or two as they are done manually at Delimiter. Which plan did you go for ?

 

Just new customer and I purchase the lowest plan of Storage VPS, paid yearly.

 

That's so horrible. It's like they intentionally want to inflict as much personal pain as possible on the Linode engineers - this is a significant holiday weekend in the United States, intentionally designed to celebrate a day away from work. I wonder who has the motivation to do something so harsh?
