    yeah whichever way works best for your environment though pigz level 1 is a good compromise ;)

    this is on a 1.6GB tar file tested look at pigz level 1 compress time but also compressed size

    hi just i want update about linode i cancel my account with theme because i get crazy my 2 server in frankfurt after problem in network today they block ip of my server because too long attack i don't know how honesty but the block without tell me is not good.
    any good vps host?

    i have in ramnode but they have only Netherland for Europe and more all my traffic is europe and north Africa

    Linode has been stable since few days ago. It seems (finger crossed) they have everything under control :)

    I think the recent issues Linode have experienced will end up making them all the better for it, in my opinion. They've been a pretty reliable and noteworthy hosting solution for years.

    yup totally agree if they put in place measures such as DDOS mitigation and stronger security it will be a very solid solution :)

    Just remember, people forget quickly - for one bad experience you need to have 10 good before trust is coming back.

    well trust is an accumulation of good experience so really depends on how much good experience you accumulated versus the bad.

    i.e. being with linode for 2yrs good experience and 3 days bad versus someone who just started with linode for first 4-7 days and had 3 days of bad experience.

    but really depends on the person

    Dediserve, Delimiter, iwstack all have good reputation for production level servers. No one tried them here?
