Linode Linode relatively fast snapshot backup and restore speeds

Was doing some Linode VPS tests which required me to to a snapshot backup of entire 2GB Linode VPS and restore to a new Linode VPS which is same 2G Linode plan. The backup of ~25GB data on 50GB disk the backup speed was around 4 mins and restore speed ~21.25 mins. So total time to backup and restore ~25GB data was just over 25 minutes.

This is much faster than DigitalOcean and Vultr at least. DO takes around forever !

24922/240 = 103.84MB/s
24922/1275 = 19.55MB/s

So what's folks own experiences with their web hosts' native backup and restore speeds ?
