    I upgraded mine last night. I'm now at 8GB... took around 4 minutes. So far so good...

    Worked out fine. I've also setup a 3-node cluster using 3x 4gb Linodes. This will give multi-vm resiliency even in the face of entire VM's being lost.

    I'll be then setting up MaxScale (either this week or next weekend) on each front-end webnode to automatically balance and scale reads, and drop lost nodes automatically as required :)

    nice @Xon so doing a multi-master mysql replication with maxscale as a load balancing proxy for sql reads and failover ?

    Yup. Well, that is the idea is to finish that when I'm not flat out at work or home sick :p

    Next step will be setting up a Redis cluster and updating my XenForo Redis Cache add-on to support clustering.
