    Awesome - and still think this letsencrypt project is started at the right time because people is ready for it.. The dns-challenge is also working great - I almost only use that or the certonly options.. What is the anonymous registrations count of - is it possible to make a cert without first register with a e-mail?

    Letsencrypt client and changes coming for folks integrating or developing their own Letsencrypt clients Integration Guide - Documentation - Let's Encrypt Community Support

    FYI, Centmin Mod's integration is currently using official letsencrypt client so whatever changes official Letsencrypt client undergoes, will be most up to date for Centmin Mod :)

    Does it mean now I don't have to pay for SSL cert anymore from the big guys and can use this as a 100% comparable cert instead?

    yeah the latest letsencrypt certs should eventually support winxp too.. haven't verified it yet

    but as long as you're ok with ssl cert expiry being every 90 days with recommended renewals every ~60 days or so

    yeah you can script it.. although official letsencrypt client i believe has the feature now too.. haven't had time to follow the latest developments yet. I scripted auto renew myself for centmin mod integration Letsencrypt Free SSL Certificates - still work in progress :)
