    Good read eva, hadn't heard of journald.

    A little more googling turned this up: Rainer's Blog: rsyslog vs. systemd journal?

    Like many, I'm a bit hesitant of how systemd seems to be trying to take over all the things... rather have clear separation of concerns and focus on do-one-thing-and-do-it-well, especially because this is open-source which is like herding cats, not the dictatorship of Apple.

    well on Centmin Mod + CentOS 7, both systemd journald and rsyslog are in play together so all it is, is a second set of logs heh
