MariaDB Issue after install

I just installed this on my server, and for whatever reason maria db isn't working. Any ideas?

Hey Matt, Thankyou for your reply, and this would be the stable .07 stable version, clean version of centos 6.5.

 

Also, this might be beneficial, I did also do a yum update prior to the install, so that put me at
CentOS release 5.11 (Final)

 

I am an idiot, I am running a old version of centos, could that be the issue too?

 

Yea, its a fresh install. I am an idiot and when I had the dedicated set up I said 5.6 not thinking... BLEH. Ill report back after its installed with the newer version LOL.
