Installing MySQL on a separate server

• Memcached for ngx_pagespeed
• Zend Opcache with PHP 5.6.0

• Optimize Database after Deleting Revisions for database optimization.

No, database size is not 1GB. The site is not open for member registration. Just around 10K posts, 3 admin members and database size is ~110MB

Today I got highest visitors at a time which lasted for ~20 minutes. RAM usage was below 350MB but CPU was RED. Loving centminmod
