[Note] Using unique option prefix 'ignore-db-dir' is error-prone and can break in the future. Please use the full name 'ignore_db_dirs' instead.

...seems like ignore_db_dir should prob get changed to ignore_db_dirs as suggested by the notice

Mostly just posting to be thorough, possibly helpful :)

    Cheers, Max

that is on the fly corrected post install, double check your /etc/my.cnf to see if it is using under scores :)

duh, yeah its fine in my.cnf
[re my.cnf - I have many Qs about why you've chosen certain configs... one big one is how you seem to be calculating the innodb io values... '200*#disks' seems to make more sense for traditional spinning rust in RAID, and somehow for my single mounted disk at UpCloud the calc comes to 1800 which is ok but I think that higher would be fine w/ UpCloud's MaxIOPs performance at 2+cpu instances --> I'll prob start testing with 3000/5000max... also, will start a thread sometime soonish with a little list of my.cnf things to talk about... :-]

    Code:
    Installed:
      gtk2.x86_64 0:2.24.31-1.el7

    Complete!
    success happens :)

    cool beans, thanks

innodb io calculations - remember innodb isn't the only disk i/o using application on the server and disk i/o changes over time due to various load/usage factors ;)
