yeah i like KeyCDN pricing US$0.04/GB pay as you go. So many CDN providers are moving to monthly packages which for some folks and usage could provide certainty as to costs, but for smaller usage sites it is expensive. MaxCDN and CDN77 I use both moved to monthly prices so only keep them around for testing for clients and myself to ensure I am familiar with their offerings. CDNify definitely will try as well but seems KeyCDN has what I need for now :D

Yes, monthly plan is not suitable.
I prefer pay as you go plan :).

would be great if CDN providers offered both, pay as you go with option to upgrade to monthly plans. Even better make it an option to set a preset threshold for costs as to when you switch from pay as you go to monthly. i.e. if your pay as you go cost reaches US$10/month auto switch to monthly plan etc :)

certainty in costs.. what happens if you get a burst of traffic consuming 100TB of bandwidth ? do you have US$4 million to pay for it on pay as you go ? :D

Nginx already gzips static assets so that is passed onto the CDN anyway :)

hmm Canada doesn't seem to be fairing that well with CDN but hard to gauge as 75% of visitors are new sessions so tracking mainly new visitor performance. So added new vs returning visitor averages too

This thread really turned quite epic. So much good information inside.George is there a way on the forums to mark a thread in my account to return back to later? Like a favorites section or something? I'd love to tinker with this when I have more free time.

each thread near mid top right has a watch thread link which you can set without email notification ;)

Then top navigation link to https://community.centminmod.com/watched/threads has them all listed

    Dynamic IP :D

By the way i smell something fishy :D

When I'm using CDNify, my first day only consume 3GB but with KeyCDN for my first day it already consumes 5GB+
    I'll keep on observing.

check your cache hit rates too.. but keyCDN is missing alot of stats in their control panel so might need to export the log to dig deeper
