Who has Wordpress sites on Centminmod VPS

    1.how many they run
    2.VPS spec
    3. Traffic / Bandwidth etc
    4. What cache they find best ? Redis, MemCache etc ?
    5. memory / CPU Useage
    6. Number of Visitors

Anything else you'd like to share ?

Reason I ask - Have some 35 sites on WP about 15G of bandwidth and am looking at dumping my server on cpanel and running them on a Vultr Centminmod VPS with mail hosted elsewhere on Namecheap to lower overall costs.

    I am not a Wordpresser.
But you could ask for memory, cpu usage.
    Thats important.

For example you could run 1000 low visitor Wordpress sites on the same server for 4 heavy load sites with lots and lots of visitors.

You could add number of visitors to, as it is related to the cpu and memory usage.
What specs does your current cPanel server have?

But the server only has 35 accounts, I got rid of a load, it also had some KVM VPS's on it - these are gone also so its way to big and expensive - the main part of HDD storage is emails - which can go over to Namecheaps private mail system

I just moved two tiny wordpress sites over to a new vps running centminmod.

It is a VPS with 2 CPU, 2GB Ram and 40 GB SSD.

They get about 10k visitors/day combined. I am pushing over 1000GB bandwidth per month.

I am using cache enabler plugin, it is the best cache plugin for non-login visitors.

I am not sure about the CPU or memory usage, never had an issue in the past with centminmod, so I never bother checking.

    Very nice!

IIRC there was a forum user who only posted once to say that his Centmin Mod powered Wordpress was pushing 500,000 unique visitors/day on 1GB KVM VPS (Wordpress full HTML page caching obviously). I posted very very old Centmin Mod Wordpress benchmarks pushing a 2GB KVM VPS to 200-300+ million hits/day load testing Wordpress7 - Centmin Mod Blog :D And these days VPS hardware is much more powerful and faster than when I did those benchmarks!

I also did some benchmarking with centminmod and wordpress with cache enabler, I used loader.io.
I will share the result here when I get home tonight.

This is my loader.io test with 2,500 clients per second for 1 min. All with default centminmod settings.
I am using cache enabler, but I believe the cache is being served without php through Advanced configuration
