i use ftp to upload

when i use ftp, i cannot use command to upload, ls ....

i get same error " Copy backup to FTP.. Connected to quocuongdola.hopto.org (115.77.23.38). 220-C - Pastebin.com ".

I checked /etc/csf/csf.conf.

TCP OUT PUT Enable port 21

Using pure-ftpd generated user ? doesn't look like pure-ftpd generated ftp banner etc ?

Did you let the script generate a password for you or set your own ?

Did you make sure to enable explicit TLS/SSL mode and enable PASV passive mode like in 1st post here and at Pure-FTPD Virtual FTP Users - CentminMod.com LEMP Nginx web stack for CentOS

Which FTP client ? As not all FTP clients support FTP explicit TLS/SSL mode only clients listed at bottom of this post.

are you ftp outbound or inbound ?

If you have problems using SCP, SFTP, rsync, or other commands trying to connect to or from a remote server to your Centmin Mod server, you will need to whitelist the remote server's IP address as per above command. Common, situation would be connecting to a remote MySQL server which you need to whitelist remote MySQL server IP address as well as edit /etc/csf/csf.conf to add to TCP_OUT the default MySQL port 3306. Then restart CSF firewall service.

i "yum install ftp"

i use bash to auto backup source and database from my vps to ftp server in my laptop.

don't use yum installed ftp it's insecure as it's plain text transmitted unlike pure-ftpd's ftp over TLS. for server to server transfers use sftp native to the server instead

i think pure-ftpd is ftp server. how can i use ftp client ?

I try to search but nothing about it.
