Install CSF did not get installed

    when i try to rerun
    yum -y update; curl -O https://centminmod.com/betainstaller73.sh && chmod 0700 betainstaller73.sh && bash betainstaller73.sh

    it doesnt seem your installer script is checking whether csf nor memcached is installed or not

    could i try to install csf from other sources?

    you re-run that on existing server with centmin mod installed ? that won't work, betainstaller needs to be run on centos 7 virgin OS with nothing installed out of the box otherwise you can mess up the centmin mod install if you run it again

    you're troubleshotting log seems to be from this incorrect 2nd run though ??? need the initial install log from the 1st run

    it is checking just it aborts the rest of the install if the download fails hence you didn't get complete installation

    missing downloads should be fixed now so need to do a fresh CentOS 7 install and fresh centmin mod install

    basically what happened here is centmin mod tries to download memcached from official source if failure is detected, it will fallback to centminmod.com local hosted mirror version. Problem was local hosted mirror version was unavailable = 404 so failed to download via fallback so aborted. The abortion of install basically cancelled out subsequent software installs like CSF Firewall it seems

    this was installed on a fresh server. i just reran the same curl installation trying to get the csf and memcached installed which it didnt do

    the log is indeed correct one and it should include the the first time installation aswell as theres no earlier log than that :S

    I see. Either way missing memcahed fallback download link should be fixed now so need to do a fresh CentOS 7 install and fresh centmin mod install.

    yes reinstall as memcached failure/abort on 404 not found prevented the rest of centmin mod install software and auto configuration from completing

    I wished that Centminod script got a fallback feature incase one or another download links fail, it would continue where it left off and install the rest of the software and configurate the server.

    Reinstalling OS isnt always the easiest solution since some providers doesnt includ reinstallation script in their control panland requires technician to install it manually.

    Fail early is better than continuing as you could end up with cascading issues depending on dependencies of prior routines. So to be 100% sure, reinstall OS is best way.
