Wordpress How to increase php limit using wordpress and centminmod

    I am trying to install a heavy plugin and after installing it , it appears the message of technical difficulties in my wordpress admin and page area . So i guess that i exceed my php limit . I have put the
    define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '128M');
    define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
    in wp-config.php
    but it does not work . What i should do in order to increase the php limit for my current wordpress site using centminmod 22 . thanks

    my limit is set to 160
    php -i | grep memory_limi

    How could be possible to increase it ? Please give me a step by step guide because i am a noob using centminmod :(

    best to start with learning basics of either nano or vim editor both when run against a file that doesn't exist, will create the file when you save and exit the editor

    Easiest way to edit configuration or any files on your server is via logging into your server via ssh and directly editing them using nano or vim linux text editors. For nano which you can read up more about nano here and here. For vim text editor read here and here and thread at WebPerf - Popular Vim Commands – a Comprehensive Vim Cheatsheet

    Also there's numerous online how to use guides for nano and vim you can search for via google :)

    Solved eva thank you ! Unfortunately , after charging the plugin and activating i have the same message The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions. . Where i could find out what could be wrong with such a plugin . I have double checked it and it runs 256 instead of 160. I have another website using this plugin and runs correctly using 256 . I have not received any email in my inbox :(
