Cloudflare has put together a really interesting blog post detailing how the coronavirus is affecting web traffic in countries around the world. There's some really, really interesting graphs here.

    https://blog.cloudflare.com/on-the-shoulders-of-giants-recent-changes-in-internet-traffic/

I didn't realize that so many of the Internet Exchange Points publicly shared real-time bandwidth utilization numbers. It's also fascinating to see the huge drops in traffic after major quarantine announcements were made by world leaders, as everyone scrambles to get home and make arrangements.

These are truly unbelievable, unprecedented times for the world.

Please share any other coronavirus-Internet-traffic related stats that you see in this thread!

    Stay safe and healthy, everyone!

Yes very interesting to see how Corona virus affects internet traffic around the world ! Many ISP providers around the world are removing bandwidth quota limits and mobile carriers are bumping mobile plan data quotas for users as well !

Will really test each countries internet health and see how they fair under the extra load. Australian broadband internet will feel it once folks get into a home/work routine and medical telehealth services get up and running.

    Example https://www.theolivepress.es/spain-...ompanies-ask-residents-to-ration-netflix-use/

Maybe folks at home have more time to play with Centmin Mod now :D

hmm that would usually be an individual activity for most. But if you're stuck 24/7 with an entire family in the house, there's be no alone time LOL

I read the joke that there's be more Corona babies - babies born out couples spending more time together :)
I'd imagine some sites would see traffic spikes.
Seems to only go back 24hrs. Would be interesting to see over past 30 days
