How prevent ping to server ip ?

    Hello

    How can i prevent ping to my server ip ? I think it may possible with CSF firewall or which way ?

    I don't want to take ping packets etc.

    Thanks.

    I edit the ICMP_IN to Zero and csfrestart command, but still i can ping the server ip

    Check if you are whitelisted in csf.allow.

    You really don't wan to block ping, it makes diagnosing faults quite hard and doesn't give you any benefit out of it.

    Even if you block ping, people can still send the data at you.
