    enable DMOTD_COMPACT and DMOTD_FANCY by default in 140.00beta01

    Switch the dmotd login banner to the compact + fancy layout out of the
    box. Set DMOTD_COMPACT='n' in custom_config.inc to restore the legacy
    verbose layout.

    Changes:
    - config/motd/dmotd.sh: DMOTD_COMPACT='y', DMOTD_FANCY='y' defaults
    - update master-switch comment to reflect the new compact-on default
