    Hi

I have 1GB RAM ramnode VPS trying to run few wordpress sites and old flash app.
So far I was able to solve all the problems googling, but now I hit problem with BackupBuddy unable to backup site, beacuse backup is more than 2GB and I only have 32bit PHP.

So my quest now is to upgrade PHP to 64bit on 2.6.32-042stab108.8 #1 SMP i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux (Centos 6.9)

I guess I will have to post my Q somehwere else, but I had no clue what to write into Intro, so.. that was it. Thanks

welcome @GASTAN to Centmin Mod Community. There's 5 steps to learning more about Centmin Mod ;)

For wordpress related see sub forum at Blogs & CMS usage. But you can't upgrade from 32bit to 64bit on same operating system. You backup all your site data + need to reinstall CentOS operating system as 64bit to get 64bit PHP and then restore backed up data to new CentOS 64bit system.

You might want to try the 123.09beta01 build as it will be next stable release and well has alot of improvements if you check 2nd post change log at Beta Branch - Centmin Mod .09 beta branch Testing. And you can share your initial install times here.

I kinda hoped to recompile PHP to 64bit :( Does it make sense to have 64bit CEntOS and PHP on 1GB RAM VPS?
PHP will be installed 64bit once OS is detected to be 64bit?
I will definitely go with 123.09beta01 when I get new machine to move to.
Thanks a lot. I will check Blogs & CMS to see about possible tweaks to make it all work on 1GB RAM

yes these days 64bit is only way and at least 1GB VPS memory required see system requirements at Centmin Mod LEMP Stack Install Nginx on CentOS
