Disaster recovery planning?

    What i am wondering is, what is the suggestion for disaster recovery when I want to store all backups offsite.

    I was thinking about running a rsync script to connect to the server via SSH and pull the whole www directory, and also at the same time do a whole mysqldump of all databases and copy them over at the same time.

    However, in the event that the whole server goes down or hardware fails.. how quickly can I get that all up and running on another virtual machine? like import all settings, virtual hosts etc.?

    Depends on how familiar you are with
    1. backup and restores of site/database data in general
    2. how familiar you are with Centmin Mod LEMP environment
    3. how much practice you do for backup/restores

    I am confident with dumping and importing the databases via command line, rsyncing the www data.. however, not sure about the configurations.

    Do you happen to know if any pre-made scripts have been created - i mainly just want to check over it and implement my own stuff over the top for my own environment.

    or https://community.centminmod.com/resources/auto-database-backup-script.2/ for databases ONLY as well

    best guide still is https://community.centminmod.com/threads/centmin-mod-site-data-migration-guide.10382/ - if you're handy with shell/script automation you can basically roll those steps into your own scripts even including my keygen.sh tool
