Install Upgrade Umm... My centminmod install seems to have disappeared, but my sites still work...

    • CentOS Version: i.e. CentOS 6 64bit
    • Centmin Mod Version Installed: 123.09beta01
    • Nginx Version Installed: 1.13.1
    • PHP Version Installed: 7.1.6
    • MariaDB MySQL Version Installed: 10.0.32
    • When was last time updated Centmin Mod code base ? : a couple of weeks ago
    • Persistent Config: No
    This is a test server and I was getting ready to test elasticsearch.

    I went to update centminmod and found that my /usr/local/src directory looks like this...

    Very Odd. The last couple of things I have done has been working with netdata, granfana, and prometheus.

    Any way to fix this, or should I just wipe the server and reinstall?

    maybe you did the same mistake as @joshuah and ran centmin.sh menu option 23 submenu option 1 instead of 2 and aborted part way through it Upgrade - HELP! I broke something? ? You can just setup a fresh copy of centmin mod code on your server

    Just do a fresh Centmin Mod code replacement by wiping /usr/local/src/centminmod as outlined similar to update guide here for older than .07 releases.

    replace branchname with branch you want either 123.08stable or 123.09beta01

cd centminmod
./centmin.sh

    It kind of looks like there was more to this....

    I am pretty careful about what I am doing, and I did not abort anything...

    Git was broken.
    Bash said it could not be found, but yum said it was installed.
    I had to uninstall and reinstall it to get it working.

    I reinstalled centminmod scripts as you said and it looks like things are working.
    I will probably wipe and rebuild this server when I finish my elasticsearch testing.

    Ah maybe one of your yum updates/installs accidentally removed git ? check your yum history

    for me last time CentOS 7 related git YUM update happened when updated from CentOS 7.3 to 7.4 via yum update.
