    Hi All,

Thanks for having me on the forum; I have to say the xenforo design is stunning - it's really well-made. is this a custom Xenforo Skin?

I run a small forum using Xenforo, just did an upgrade (not my choice, data issue with GRUB on OVH and just started again) and having some issues I am sure we will figure out :) With help from you guys.

I have run sites for years, over 20 years; I started out with an HTML site many years ago, which then developed into a VBulletin forum, and then I moved to Xenforo for speed - which has served me well.

I am now in my 40s, and I realised I don't have the same attention span as I used to. The last upgrade was probably 10 years ago, so the site's been running fine for years; I do the usual upgrades via Centmin to keep up to date.

I am into all sorts, to be honest; I run a small business in the UK, used to be an electrician I guess you never stop being one, but so long since I done any sparky work, I would say I have forgotten it all.

    Thanks again for having me.

    Best,
    Mick

welcome @MickD to Centmin Mod Community. The theme is PixelExit's paid Fontawesome theme with some tweaks. Nice to hear from former vBulletin users that switched to Xenforo :)

    Welcome @MickD

    Merry Christmas

So if your no longer a spare - what do you do now ?

You would be best to keep on top of updates with XF, Themes, Plugins and CMM as it makes it a lot easier in the long run - Coming from someone who has had the headaches when stuff is so far out of date it takes more than hours and normally days to do the upgrades

Im also in the UK, formerly used PHPbb, then vBulletin then Invision and now a converter XF user, used CMM on and off for many many years along with some CPanel dedicated servers (dont have them anymore, all CMM now)

The theme here is by Russ (modified by @eva2000 I would guess) over at XF, see his site PixelExit

He is great for support and his themes are in my opinion one of the best - I use only his themes on my XF sites
