    I come across this today:
    https://www.androidpolice.com/google-domains-takeover-squarespace/

Squarespace Enters Definitive Agreement to Acquire Google Domains Assets — The Official Squarespace Newsroom

It seems they have sold the Google Domains – Register Your Domain Name – Google Domains service to squarespace.

This sucks because I've used GDomains for awhile now as a few of my sites have G Suite Accounts and the integration is nice.

I guess Cloudfare here I come?

Is Cloudfare your domain register of choice?

I use whichever domain registrar is cheapest at the time so I use many registrars from namecheap, namesilo, porkbun, internet.bs, GoDaddy, cloudflare etc :) For parked domains or unimportant, most end up with Cloudflare registrar but i usually bulk move them when there are transfer discounts - which usually offered by namecheap and porkbun :D

Cloudflare is my registrar of choice. I gradually started moving all my domains there from NameCheap a few years ago. I only own about 35 or so domains, so not nearly as many as @eva2000, but I prefer having them all under one roof and have been very happy with Cloudflare.

    Thanks for the heads up.
For work this is some work. All in on the gcp ecosystem. However not a fan of google for this very reason, google selling stuff or abandoning.

for everything else I use hover as registrar, fab support, really quick, or was. .co.uk’s are a bit of a manual transfer pain, great support though. Not the cheapest, but had 2fa long before others. Now habitually trapped by having so many there.

Then cloudflare for all the other magic.

Slight preference to split ownership and dns/etc. However for no real reason.

I think Google Domains is different from Google Cloud Domains from what I understand. But I did see reports of moving to Google Cloud Domains with no issues.
