    Hello

    I have a problem:

the let's encrypt script in google cloud, detects the internal ip "10.*******" not the external ip "104.*******"

    even the
    ifconfig -a

    shows the internal IP

I know google work behind a firewall, but how to make the let's encrypt detect that external ip?

but does it show up in ifconfig output in SSH ? maybe just CentOS 7 static ip add is needed but confirm with Google Cloud Compute tech support How to configure a static IP address on CentOS 7 - Ask Xmodulo

But never used Google Cloud Compute myself as bandwidth is too expensive at US$120-190/TB for Asian/India region !

looks like this is the way google works

here is the customer support reply:

As you can check it, the instance won't shows you the external IP as the instance works within the Google Cloud Network. Also, you may note that there are two different types of IP: Static and Ephimeral. By default, the external IP's are Ephimeral [1], unless you configure it as Static on GCP > Networking > External IP addresses (Column "Type").

moreover, I can see google has a built-in firewall, does it replace CFS firewall, I mean can I uninstall CFS firewall, to save server resources?

surperisingly, I tried the auto tool today and it worked

the only thing I did new:

1-entering the commands from the mac ssh terminal not from the google interface terminal

    2-updated to php7

3-updated the centimon mod to the latest

4-installed the manual method for another domain

5-installed the new domain auto and it worked
