Glances a top command alternative

Did you know that Centmin Mod also installs a top command alternative called Glances and sets up an alias command = top2 to run Glances

The version of Glances 1.7.7 on CentOS 7 is fairly old in YUM repos compared to latest Galances 2.7 so probably needs updating eventually

Glances 2.7 doesn't work with Python 2.6 so CentOS 6 would have issues updating. While CentOS 7 uses Python 2.7 so can update via removing glances via yum remove and manually installing Glances via pip install instructions at GitHub - nicolargo/glances: Glances an Eye on your system. A top/htop alternative.

try setting your site session profile options similar to the screenshot above using Xterm for emulation

 

i confirmed if i set emulation to Xterm Glances works, if i set to ANSI get same error you do
