    I am about to install Centmin on a new linode server. I have two IP addresses. Is there a way to setup both IP addresses during the initial install or do I have to manually install the second IP after the install?

    If the latter, according to the documentation, the setup in ifcfg-eth0 (CentOS 7 only) would be:

    DEVICE=eth0
    BOOTPROTO=static
    IPADDR0=192.168.2.1 <= first IP addresses
    IPADDR1=192.168.2.2 <= 2nd IP addresses
    NETMASK=255.255.255.255
    BROADCAST=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
    ONBOOT=yes

    The problem is that on my current linode server (CentOS7 with latest centimod) the ifcfg-eth0 config file has a different format. Below are the relevant parts.

    DEVICE="eth0"
    NAME="eth0"
    ONBOOT="yes"

    BOOTPROTO="none"
    DOMAIN=members.linode.com
    GATEWAY0=xxx.xxx.xx.x

    DIPADDR0=xxx.xxx.xx.xxx

    PREFIX0=24

    How would I go about adding the 2nd address? Do I just add the second IP and Gateway to additional variables GATEWAY1 and DIPADDR1? How about PREFIX0?

    Thanks for the help.

    Might want to submit a Linode tech support ticket and ask for correct way and then share with us Linode's reply :)

    Looks like I am treading on uncharted territory! I will submit a ticket and post my findings.
