    Hello,

I only run Centminmod + XF on my server. And I'm a bit tight with space right now.

I just wanted to know, are there any Centminmod/Server related files I can get rid of in order to save some space?

I know all the installations downloaded packages so they are automatically installed by CMM. I thought probably I could get rid of those? Yes? If so can you tell me where to look and what to delete if possible?

Or is everything what CMM downloads important, like all the YUM updates and what not it downloads?

    Thanks.

Might want to check out these threads which will shed some light - 2nd thread has some tips but they only temporary :)
Basically you're or maybe now using more disk space than you have available and need to upgrade your disk space on your VPS or move to VPS with more disk space

You can use these commands to find where the disk space usage is going but do not go blindly deleting data as some of it would be for system operation so you can break your server deleting incorrect data.

    Code (Text):
    df -h
    du -h --max-depth=1 /
    du -h --max-depth=1 /home
    du -h --max-depth=1 /usr
    du -h --max-depth=1 /var

For Centmin Mod Nginx vhost specific i.e. where you upload your site's files for your site files etc.
    Code (Text):
    du -h --max-depth=1 /home/nginx/domains

any sensitive directory names for your site files etc can be masked by you manually as you don't want to publicly list them if possible

Vhost specific directory I won't touch of course. There are my XF files and backups. I just deleted backups so I have free space again but I would like to get rid of other temporary files which are not needed anymore.

From the other thread, I believe those 3 are safe to delete, which would be enough for me so far. Anything else?

yes those 3 are safe but this is temp fix as they will fill back up over time and cause issues if you also have more disk usage from site usage.

best to upgrade disk space and/or more to VPS with more disk space

Yeah, but my site doesn't grow that fast + I can regulate it by the number of backups I leave on the server for a while. This will buy me time, probably a year.
